Playful, fun and kind of dangerous
Presented inside the Mallinckrodt Center, The Rocky Horror Show production featured an 18-member student cast and captured the playful, campy, and subversive spirit of the original musical.
As director William Whitaker explained, the show has long been “a clarion call to be yourself.”1 The 2018 Performing Arts Department production of The Rocky Horror Show turned the Edison Theatre into a lively hub of student performance and community. Events like these become the spotlight for the building’s multipurpose identity, bridging academics, arts, and student life.
